Almost Time!
Hey Pan Am fans! Add me on twitter @PanAmFanBlog and send me a tweet! I'm also available on Skype at xchrissygeex Shoot me a message! I'm going to attempt to watch Pan Am with the East coasters, because my daughter is sick and doesn't want me watching Once Upon A Time without her. So, why stay up super late?

Episode 9: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Original Air Date:
This is going to be a quick one! I didn't realize I'd missed doing my recap. Seeing as the show is returning tonight, I should get caught up!
It all starts out with Kate reluctantly accepting what she hopes to be her last mission from Richard. She's obviously hurt from all that's happened so far. However, when Richard threatens her job, she knows she really has no choice.
This episode introduces a few new characters. Two of which, I did NOT like. Remember how hell bent I was on getting rid of Ginny? We'll come back to this in a second.
Dean and Colette play hooky (not hooking...) and something magical happens! One my my favorite couples FINALLY hooks up! Not without a price though. Dean's father almost spoils the whole thing when he won't leave the Bridget subject alone. However, this does bring us to the beautiful barn scene where Dean tells Colette that she is "real" and THIS fan girl was smiling from ear to ear! Although I don't think hay is a comfortable love making place, I'm pretty sure if the opportunity presented itself, I could make do...
So, if Dean and Colette are playing hooky, where does that leave our stewardesses? Well, it leaves them stuck one girl short and plus one, arrogant, WWII Vet as their substitute Captain. He's got his sights set on Laura and doesn't try to even hide it. Ted looks just about helpless as he listens to the man drone on about his war days, and doesn't seem too pleased on the pervert honing in on HIS girl! Laura gives the guy what he deserves (still debating the accident part!) hot coffee in the lap! Ted is obviously happy! It almost lands her in trouble, but Ted winds up smoothing it out. Later on, we find out that he told the Captain that Laura was his girl and didn't want to see her get into trouble. (more awe moments anyone?)
Maggie gets the pleasure of bringing her friend Sam aboard. Of course, he starts a scene on the plane with a rather handsome congressman which leads to Maggie later confronting him at the hotel. She begins debating with the congressman in the lobby, which leads her to following him to his room. The debate becomes physical (in a sexy way!)...not that this fan girl is complaining!
Then there is Kate, who is working with Mr. Anderson. She's trying to finish out her mission and is distracting their target while Mr. Anderson switches out a list of CIA informants with a counterfeit one.
Everything comes to a head when Maggie sets the congressman's hotel room on fire. Laura runs into Ted who she was supposed to be helping out (but missed because she was held up by the Captain who was telling her what Ted said about her), only to find that it seemed he didn't need her help after all. His "date" that he wanted out of looked like it went a little hot and heavy. My heart was crushed. Is this going to be another Ginny issue?
Kate's distraction is cut short by the fire alarm and the target decides to return to his shop, even though Mr. Anderson isn't done exchanging lists. Kate rushes to help, only to find Mr. Anderson in a predicament. A gun slides over her way when it's knocked out of his hands. Just before the attacker can move in for the kill, Kate picks up the gun and shoots!
I can't wait for tonight. I hope Ted realizes that sparkly vampires are NOT good girlfriends! But cute, semi-innocent stewardesses are!
